Adobe Experience Manager

Rebuild digital platform of a major bank’s corporate website and core marketing channel.

Infobase was a key partner and critical to the success of the project to rollout Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as the main enterprise Content Management System (CMS) which runs the public website of a top Canadian bank and 40+ other public facing and regional websites. The AEM CMS enables Business Lines and Marketers to quickly and efficiently build, manage and deploy web pages and marketing campaigns on a

standardized and enterprise-grade platform. The AEM project was a cloud trailblazer as one of the very first large-scale and public facing applications hosted on the Microsoft Azure cloud. Infobase played an essential role in defining the robust architecture, leading the AEM OpsDev infrastructure setup, coordinating migration and continued operational support.

The AEM CMS platform has attracted the attention of and been adopted by other business lines and regions throughout the bank as their CMS of choice since the production launch in October 2017.

Commercial Web Banking Application Development

A major financial institution in Canada undertook a multi-year project to upgrade its aging commercial web banking infrastructure. Infobase designed the new system based on the latest technology and user requirements. After the initial design and proof of concept was proved hugely successful, Infobase developed the remaining systems including Administration, Wire Payments, Account Transfer, Bill Payment, etc.

While this major task was underway, the client combined another major initiative with the project to speed up introduction of new services into a critical market. Not only did we absorb the new requirements, we also worked closely with the client’s technical and business teams, and completed the project both on time and under budget.

Digital ID Issuance and Management System

Infobase has designed and developed a Digital ID Issuance and Management system for a leading bank in Canada. The requirements included automation of creating requests, approval workflow, automatic reminders, and integration with 3rd party systems.

Our approach was to adopt a Service Oriented Architecture that detached the underlining technology from the business logic, thus reducing maintenance cost and enabling future extensions. The application incorporated the latest web technology and made user interaction intuitively and refreshing.

Infobase successfully completed the project and implemented the application in production, achieving project objectives set out by the management, which is to save approximately $200,000 over the next five years.

Clinical Patient Information System

Infobase was contacted by a leading neurosurgical patient care clinic based in Ottawa and Washington DC. The client has been struggling with an outdated Patient Information System that is based on Microsoft Excel that cannot scale to the hundreds of users (surgeons, technicians, administrators) they now have. Not in the field of IT, the client sought expert opinions from Infobase through the referral of an existing Infobase client.

Our experts went through several brainstorming sessions to thoroughly understand the client’s business needs, and worked with the client’s IT department to design and develop a new system that is based on the latest technology from Microsoft. The new system supports online and offline usages, different actions based on user’s role and record status, modern looking user interface, easy deployment, and flexibility in future expansion. Infobase has successfully completed the project and the client was very satisfied with the speed and quality of the code, and contracted Infobase for two further phases of enhancements of the application.
